The ASC revenue cycle is complex and involves numerous steps, all of which play key roles in getting ASCs paid. Not only must ASCs execute each step carefully, but they must also ensure the steps flow into one another effectively and efficiently. Mistakes and bottlenecks that stall or derail ASC revenue cycle workflows can lead to delays in payment, increases in denials, reduced staff productivity, surgeon dissatisfaction, and loss of revenue. By gaining more knowledge about revenue cycle workflows, ASCs will put themselves in a better position to build and maintain successful workflows that support timely, accurate payments.

During this program, our ASC revenue cycle experts:

  • Provide an overview of the ASC revenue cycle process and its workflows
  • Explain what enables revenue cycle workflow success
  • Identify common problems that disrupt revenue cycle workflows and stifle performance
  • Discuss recommendations for identifying and addressing shortfalls
  • Share additional tips for workflow improvement

This program has been approved for 1.0 hours of AEU credit in the Financial area by BASC Provider #1125.

AEU credit can be requested for up to three years after the original broadcast.
